The goal of this workshop track is to provide leadership training and skills for Correctional Industries Professionals who supervise, direct, or motivate free world staff, as well as offenders. We hope to give these professionals some new tools, abilities and ideas with regard to leader-ship and management in a day to day workplace environment. Specifically, managing and leading personnel, inventories, and production for programs will be our focus.

Are you in search of best and promising practices for incorporating reentry components into your CI program’s daily operational work setting? In this track you will learn how using evidence – based practices supports successful offender reentry. Participants will learn strategies such as using assessments to improve outcomes, identifying the key differences between employment lapse and relapse, addressing barriers to employment retention, developing industry certifications and collaborating with other service providers to enhance successful reentry and reduce recidivism.
