Below is a list of helpful resources for staff of Correctional Industries.
A tool created for CI staff to use in evaluating incarcerated workers. The purpose of this tool is to align with community employment best practices and serve as a an addition to their employment packet, alongside a resume, cover letter, and certifications.
Results of a survey conducted with Second Chance Employers. The survey asked employers about their willingness to hire individuals who were formerly incarcerated and explored what factors, such as certifications, training, or attitudes toward second-chance hiring, influence those decisions. It also investigated how supportive employers might be of partnerships or programs aimed at increasing job readiness and employer confidence in hiring people still incarcerated.
