CALPIA Expanding Successful Soft Skills Training Program

  • May 19, 2021
  • 1 min read

Following a successful pilot of it's Essential Skills for the Workforce program, CALPIA plans to expand this valuable soft skills training to more incarcerated individuals working in CALPIA's shops. This self-paced, self-reflective program introduces incarcerated individuals to interpersonal and social skills, self-awareness, managing emotions/stress, as well as empathy and professionalism in the workplace.

Exciting news that CALPIA's Essential Skills for the Workforce program is expanding after a successful pilot. Soft skills like emotional regulation and professionalism are so critical for reentry, and I've been following similar programs and would love to learn more about how to get involved. https://seedance-2.us

Been browsing Poki Games when I need to unwind after long study sessions. They organize everything by category which makes it easy to find something that matches your mood. The multiplayer section has some surprisingly fun stuff too.
