Iowa's ethanol producers, prisoners, will partner to make hand sanitizer, Reynolds says

Synopsis: Gov. Kim Reynolds pointed to the effort on how Iowa businesses are stepping up to help during the COVID-19 crisis. The Iowa Renewable Fuels Association said it plans to begin sending alcohol to the Iowa Department of Corrections for the manufacturing of hand sanitizer, now in short supply across the nation.
